- Most Trumpet login.cmd scripts have a variable that defines how long
- TCPMan will wait to receive a CONNECT string back from the modem after
- dialing the number. This is to allow faster re-dialing.

- It sounds like yours is a bit too impatient for the
- answering-plus-negotiation time of your particular modem pairs. You
- should increase it.
